Wrap a narrow strip of tape around the outside of the wheel to keep the eraser in place. If you don’t have an eraser, you could use a small wad of paper or a small candy like a Tic Tac. Step 6: Repeat for the other wheel, but place the eraser on the opposite side of the wheel. This will make it wobble better. Step 7: Stand up the friction car on its rear wheels and body. Most cars will stand up by themselves. If your car doesn’t stand, tape a paper clip to the back of the car to give it stability.
Stripping wire takes practice. Step 3: Place a 9V snap-on battery harness on a 9V battery. You can buy these at any electronics or hobby store, but they are also relatively easy to take out of a broken 9V-powered toy. Step 4: Use the needle-nose pliers to snap off a fan blade. Grab the middle of the blade with the pliers. Hold the outside of the fan housing with your other hand and pull up. The blade should snap off. Step 5: Repeat to remove at least two more fan blades on either side of the first blade you removed.
